Gem opal artworks are a unique form of art created by a select group of artisans.

My interest in this unique art form began over 30 years ago, from my family’s involvement in opal mining.

Being captivated by the concept of creating wonderful pieces I sought inspiration, however the only works I saw were of inferior quality and I knew this field was open for true quality works of art.

Through many trials and much experimentation, a technique was developed for embedding the opal design in etched black glass.

Australian gem opals, possibly as old as time it's self, are selected for their brilliance and colour. The opals are then set to best advantage and highlight these features in the finished artwork.

Artworks are then set within high quality frames to both protect and display each piece. They are easily re-framed to suit individual taste, at the purchaser’s discretion.
