The Platypus uses its tail for storage of fat reserves. It has webbed feet and a large, rubbery snout; the webbing is more significant on the front feet and is folded back when walking on land.

The body and the broad, flat tail of the Platypus are covered with dense brown fur that traps a layer of insulating air to keep the animal warm.

Jenadors Platypus is part of a collection of twelve Australiana Wildlife designs.

The design of an image is etched into 5mm thick black glass. The etching is embedded with opal that has been selected and cut for its brilliance and luster.

The finished piece is then framed and when mounted on a wall or perhaps a bench top with lighting directed on it, the image comes to life! A truly beautiful, spectacular masterpiece.

Jenador exhibits her art around the world, her works are investment, collector pieces and are sold with a Certificate of Appraisal.

This piece was completed in four days.
