My home city of Bendigo, Victoria, Australia, houses the longest imperial dragon in the world, Sun Loong.

He is awakened once a year at Easter time to be paraded through the streets of Bendigo.

Working closely with the Chinese Museum of Bendigo the dragon was created to come to life with the fire of the opal.

This piece took approximately three and a half months to complete.
