The inspiration to re-create Tutankhamuns Funeral Mask was realised after I read about the boy king of Egypt and the riches discovered in his tomb.

I decided to create my own funeral mask of Tutankhamun with the best of Australian opals. tutankhamun’s Funeral Mask was completed in three months.
